Join fellow Bryn Mawr alumnae for an informal August meetup in Alexandria. Come reconnect, swap stories, and build new friendships in a relaxed setting. Heidi Bogacz ’07 will be holding seats at the bar for us at Lena’s Wood-Fired Pizza & Tap, which offers GF and V options. Please note this is a buy-your-own food and drink casual meet-up, to try out a new format requested at the annual meeting!
Whether you’re new to the area or longtime DMV resident, this gathering is a chance to connect and commiserate over the August heat. Hope to see you there!

September 16, 2026 – “Welcome to the City” (Happy Hour)
Join members of the Bryn Mawr Club of DC to welcome new alumnae/i to the DC area! at Succotash Prime (near Metro Center) Whether you’re new or a longtime local, come join us for a relaxed gathering where we can swap tips on everything from where to get the best coffee to tips to navigating the unique landscape of DC work and life.
The cost helps us cover the tab for GOLD Mawrters and noshes for the group.
Please note this is welcome to *all* Mawrters, but we’d like to keep it to just Mawrters! There will be more events soon where friends and family are welcome.

From crafting standout resumes to navigating informational interviews and sharpening your job-hunting strategy, this series will offer practical tools and peer-driven insights.

Annual MeetingSunday, May 16th, 2026 at 10am; Location Caren Mofidi’s home Join us for the club’s annual meeting! The annual meeting is part business meeting to go over the clubs affairs and plan for the next year, and part social affair (light snacks and mingling). We host it in May in honor of May Day. We will provide snacks and drinks. So we can ensure coverage for the event, please RSVP before May 14. The home is four blocks from the elevator entrance of the Woodley Park Metro stop. Playing with Language at Planet WordSaturday, June 21, 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM Join the Bryn Mawr Club of DC for a group exploration of Planet Word, the only museum in the country dedicated to renewing and inspiring a love of words and language. We will start with a group orientation, and then break up into smaller groups to enjoy the space. This event is open to Mawrters and their families, and registration goes to cover the cost of group admission. It is $15 for anyone over the age of 2. Please register before June 5, as we have to give our total group numbers to the museum in advance. |
