She is one of the few people who can professionally say she has a doctorate in video games, and she works on issues pertaining to diversity in STEM fields. Liz lives in Silver Spring with her husband, where she spends most of her time doting on her Great Pyr rescue dog and attempting to tame the jungle that is her garden.

She has worked in litigation for top 100 law firms as well as in-house counsel in data analytics specializing in licensing, acquisitions, and corporate governance. Yona is eager to bring her organizational and leadership skills to the table as she helps to provide DC Alums with a taste of Bryn Mawr again in alumni events and connections.
